Explorer is a frramed 20" X 30" acrylic painting by Kathy A. Wittman.  It features an alpine wilderness area off a remote trail near Highway 130 in Albany County, Wyoming.  The small human figure in the middle-ground is my son, Zachary, in the role of Explorer as he enjoys his adventures during a day trip in late summer of 2019.  His significance is downplayed as he contemplates the sublime beauty of the natural world.
